Photoshoot Associate

We are seeking:

The Mint Julep Boutique is looking for a full-time Photoshoot Associate to partner with the Photoshoot Coordinator and Digital Content Coordinator to assist in all photoshoot responsibilities including helping to get together props, technology, researching locations, organizing products, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Photoshoot Coordinator and Digital Content Coordinator to assist in all photoshoot responsibilities including helping to get together props, technology, researching locations, organizing products, etc.
  • Research new models for both the womens and girls lines and help to get test photos and coordinate test shoots.
  • Attend photo shoots and assist with on-site tasks including loading and unloading, decorating, organizing food, and ensuring the environment of the shoot remains positive and productive.
  • Assist in getting content on the shoot- specifically video.
  • Assists in managing images post-photoshoot, including reshoots, rush images, color swatching and color corrections
  • Additional responsibilities assigned by Brand Manager as necessary
  • Build and maintain collaborative and effective relationships

Qualifications:

A successful applicant for this role will be someone who is passionate about event planning and fashion photo shoots, that’s highly self-motivated, and thrives on effective communication. (S)he must also be a fast-paced worker and self-starter who can clearly deliver styling direction based on brand guide and Brand Manager’s art direction.

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or Marketing preferred
  • Minimum 1 - 2 years professional experience
  • Project management experience and flexibility in accommodating frequently changing schedules
  • Detail oriented
  • Great communicator
  • Video/ Photo editing
  • Video/ Photographer experience a plus
