Do you have a family photoshoot coming up? If so, we want to make sure you are outfitted with the cutest clothing that can easily be coordinated with the other members of your family.

Whether your photoshoot is taking place in a park, the beach or in a professional studio, there are so many options when it comes to finding the perfect outfit for a family photo session.

These outfit ideas will have you feeling confident and radiant during the shoot. Be careful not to outdress the whole fam! Just kiddingdress your heart out! After all, you are the star of the show, right?

The Best Color Schemes for Family Photos

Since you’re doing the research on family photoshoot outfits, we thought it might be helpful to provide you with a few color schemes that work well for family photo sessions—regardless of the setting. These colors are especially helpful if you plan on color-coordinating with your family so that your photos look more cohesive.

GrayGray is a great color to wear for family photos because there are so many different variations of the shade. Why is this helpful? Your family could all wear different shades of gray while still looking cohesive and not miss-matchy. And, gray is a common color, which means most of your family members probably have something gray already in their closet.

CreamAs an alternative to white, cream colors will look great on everyone. White may be too harsh of a color and may be hard for the photographer to shoot, depending on the setting of your shoot.

Beige or TaupeBeige and taupe are other neutral colors that will look good on just about everyone. This tone is also perfect for every setting and won’t clash with any kind of scenery.

BurgundyIf you want more color in your photoshoot or you’re heading to a location where a pop of color would look great, burgundy is a nice option that isn’t too loud or busy. This is also a really flattering color on most skin tones.
